Fall Makeup Trend Step By Step Tutorial

It's fall, and I'm loving the current fall trends focusing on forest green in both shimmer and mattes paired with bronzes, rose, and terracottas.

Model, Taytem Harlan, is a dream. I'm personally in love with her flawless ivory complexion and knew the Pat McGrath shimmering shadow would set the look off! With this makeup look, I decided to go with gleaming skin, a bold peachy lip, and shimmering eye makeup focusing on that beautiful forest green and rose gold.

Model Taytem

Let's get into the details of this look I created:

I used the Bioderm Micellar Water first with a cotton pad and Senna's Soothing Toner to prep.  I love the smell of this stuff, and I apply it with my hands while giving a little massage. The same goes with how I apply moisturizer too. I used Senna Sea Algae Moisturizer

For skin, I went with Opalescence Gleam Face & Body Radiance as under-eye brightener with Peach Deluxe Gleam Face & Body Radiance mixed into Armani Silk Luminous 6.5 using my MM01 brush.

Next step: Cream BLUSH! I applied Incarnate from the Senna Pro Palette Slip Cover palette to high cheekbones up towards the temple, blending around outside the eyes.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in fair neutral + YSL All Hours Concealer in 40TB 2 using my MM11 brush & a beauty sponge.

Set with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder and my MM02 brush

Fall Makeup

It's all about those eyes…

I went with an oldie but a forever classic, the first Pat McGrath Mothership 2 Sublime. I used 4 shimmery shades: start with the bronze using my MM08

brush all over the lid up to the crease, slightly rounding towards the outside of the eye with my MM09 brush

Dry brush & blend all around outer edges of color. Then with the hunter green shade, using my MM07 brush, press the color into the center of the lid up to the crease blending the shade out, concentrating most of the color in the center. Add a touch of the rust shade just to the outer crease with my MM11 smudge and blend.

Take the baby pink shade and apply under eyes and under the brow with my MM11and then blend again. Use the forest green shade to go under the eye. Touch up concealer with the MM06 brush

Next, let's add definition to the eyes by lining with a smooth and subtle cat line with Mac Cosmetics Pro Longwear Fluidline in Dipdown and then a tight line just along the lash, on top, and in the waterline with Mac Cosmetics Pro Longwear Fluidline in Blacktrack.

Curl lashes with my favorite Tarte Eyelash Curler. Give them a good couple of coats with L'Oréal Voluminous Carbon Black for mascara.

Taytem has great brows. I gave them a brush, then filled in her brows with Senna Sketch-A-Brow in Dark Taupe.

Now for lashes. I did a custom job layering Trio Flare Clusters in Medium Black from Elegant Lashes mixed with Ardell Flare Individuals in Medium & Short.

For the cheeks, it's all about the layers. I started by tapping Peach Deluxe Gleam Face & Body Radiance on upper cheekbones. Then with my MM03 brush, I layered on the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light with Lime Crime Hi-Lite Blossoms palette in shade Lavender on top of high points and finally Melanie Mills Hollywood Gleam Radiant Dust in Rose GoldWow-what a cheek!

I wanted the eyes to be the focus, so I went with a peachy nude, picking up the bronze and dust in the eyeshadow. The lip concoction is Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat lip pencil in Pillow Talk with Fenty Stunna Lip Paint in Unbutton then topped off with Bare Minerals Far Out Gloss in Brilliant.

Opalesence and Peach Deluxe

The body is a mix of Peach Deluxe + Opalescence. I used my hands and the MM01 brush. Then with the MM04 brush, I used Gleam Radiant Dust in Rose Gold and some of the Lime Crime Hi-Lite Blossoms palette in shade Lavender
for collar bone and shoulders.

The whole look was set, of course, with the best setting spray ever, my Super Lite Long Lasting Setting Spray.

I love this look! Would you rock this trending fall makeup?
